What was the highlight of Southern Village Okinawa
If you’re traveling on a budget and are flexible, it’s a great option.
Very reasonably priced. Staff are helpful and friendly. You can get a massage and eat all meals on site at their restaurant (good if you’re hungry—it’s a lot of fried food and noodles). They work hard to keep the entire place clean even though it’s old.
It’s hard to relax in the evening especially because there are no chairs and only the one overhead florescent light. The laundry facilities are very old and cost extra (but are still functional). While the rooms have mini fridges, the microwave and toaster are in the lobby which doesn’t open till 9, making it hard to use for breakfast.

If you are desperate for a cheap place to stay this is the place for you.
This place is primarily for construction workers. It has a very industrial feel to it. Not much to like except the price.
The staff or owners are not very accommodating when requesting anything. Again this is a place for transient construction workers who get up early in the morning.

insects seem to be a major problem here. Had to move rooms. Restaurant closed daily before 1700.

If you want a place to sleep at night and you dont care about where this is the place for you.
The free parking was nice.
The staff would not accommodate any changes to reservations. Even though rooms were available. Front desk staff was not very customer friendy.
